    Three clean sheets for Alisson!

What a majestic performance, I was worried by Utd's first 10 minutes, they looked very much up for it but we took away that control and they never got any quality openings for a shot let alone a goal.

I love how we shock and awe then retreat back to total control.

I hope Salah stays for another couple of seasons.

Anyone care to comment on the refereering today? It was quite fair on balance and VAR just went on with it (as how it should be..noticeable improvement from yesteryear)

I was thinking that too.. both goals where we turned over possession would have been blown for by a ref with agenda. He did well, hardly noticed him.

Having a ref with ties to one team (birth location) can actually help the other as he'll go out of way to prove impartiality, esp after a week of oppo fans criticismg the decision.

Still shouldn't be factor though, find a truly neutral ref.

Strange that he seems to be getting his excuses in early.

Such a stupid narrative- 8 of his starters were players he signed or gave their debut, and for the 3 players who were there before him, he had some of his signings on the bench who could have played those positions.

Imagine arguing that yer still in transition after spending nearly £600m on players. And with him comparing his team to our “mature” team- his net spend over the past 3 seasons is more than ours in the 10 seasons since Klopp came in!! But still in transition eh…
          I don't tip

Scholes tried to echo the same thing and surprisingly Owen cut him off saying how long can he realistically use that excuse when they’ve spent almost as much as Chelsea.

Our mature team that had an entire midfield three that weren’t at the club 15 months ago?

              Ridiculous statement from him.

Yep. Agreed. Shows how ridiculous this nonsense of Taylor refereeing these games is.
                Oh I don't know.

Yeah ref was really good. Especially on Diaz’s tackle on Casemiro. One of the biggest issues in the game just now is players going to ground way too easily and getting free kicks. There wasnt too much of that happening yesterday the ref let the game flow.

Can't get over how clinical Mo Salah's finishing is, buried that third goal.

It is kind of comforting knowing that Southgate is most likely next in line for that job.

We all know his time is coming up but if Southgate lands I’d be pretty happy with that

Clutching at straws, and that Harry Potter / Magic wand comment is usually uttered right before the manager is sacked. Really poor comment as well, it's like "my players are so ****, I'd have to be a wizard to perform with these players"
