Yesterday after the city game, it was doing my head in, listening to everyone saying “Liverpool will be 8 points clear tomorrow”. But I guess they were right Theres no easy games in the PL, certainly no easy away games.

It also felt like a typical 1st game back after an international break. Sign of champions too to get the points even when we’re not at our best!

Did he actually mean to do that? I haven't watched a replay, but looked like he just took a very heavy touch that totally wrong footed everyone and rolled into the net.

Far worse players out there than Nunez. Mo was having a shocker until his heavy touch goal and putting away the penalty. Gave the ball away a few times in really bad spots that then put us under pressure. Gakpo was a two-trick pony all game, cut in and shoot straight at the keeper or just float in a **** cross straight to their keeper. Jones did absolutely nothing other than faff about with it. Bradley was all over the place. Worst game Ibou's had all season too.

Andy ****ing Robertson was the real turd of the day though. Absolute wank again from him. We're a far better side with Tsimikas now.

I thought Nunez was decent and I agree with everything you said there.

My thought was that he was intending to control it, but at the last split second he realized there was an open goal…

Yeah he saw the keeper coming out and adjusted and pushed it past him into an open goal. He didn’t really try and follow the ball in just let it roll on. That’s my take anyway.

I watched the replay a few times and he definitely meant it, was a fantastic bit of improvisation.He was great in the second half, a constant threat and was unlucky not to get a hat trick.
