Chiesa today showed why he’s not trusted more in the league and Diaz why he’s now behind Gakpo on the left.

Don’t mind losing but I want to at least see some fight. This lot have no right to say that they want more minutes and more chances in the first eleven after today’s lack of effort.

It's one thing going out, it's another putting in such an abject performance against a side that is bottom of the Championship - it doesn't speak well of the commitment of the players and/or the preparation of the coaching staff.

Really poor way to go out but yeah I agree. Wider picture is all the context you need. Games start getting harder and you've less room for wholesale changes. No issue with going so light in this game with a domestic final already achieved.
