The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Another player with that winning mentality that never gives up and was part of a team that didn’t know how to lose in their title winning season and scored so many late goals to win or draw matches. Great to have more of that in the squad.
He's very quick and versatile. He's also a real character, a live wire. He will get caught out defending at times but that goes with the territory for attacking fullbacks. Pretty exciting signing. Should be good competition with Bradley.
Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
No decision over his shirt number yet & apparently Trent won’t be getting number 66 at Madrid. I wonder if we expect Gomez to leave thus freeing up number 2 ?
In the six seasons since he left Manchester City, Frimpong has sported the No.30 shirt at Celtic and Bayer Leverkusen.
The No.30 shirt is currently free at Anfield, having not been donned by a first-team player since Suso broke into Brendan Rodgers' plans for the 2014/15 season.
The No.2, meanwhile, viewed as a more traditional number for a right-back, is occupied by Joe Gomez.
But that shirt number could be vacant if Gomez, who saw a transfer to Newcastle United fall through last summer, leaves Anfield.
Frimpong will officially become a Liverpool player on June 1.
