It’s because of Covid delaying the finish of the 2019/20 season until late July that year.

Nike’s 5 year term should have begun 1st June 2020, but got knocked back to 1st August, to allow New Balance’s deal to be extended by 2 months so that they could still fulfil the delayed games.
