Just listening to Frimpong on TV. So he's Dutch, grew up in Manchester, played in Scotland, lived recently in Germany, why has he got a strong London accent?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I wouldn't call that a London accent (I live in London). It just sounds like he's grown up in an English speaking family, but with parents who don't necessarily speak English as a first language (presumably with friends from a similar set-up). Lots of people in London do speak like that, but I don't think it is solely a London thing. Anyway, welcome lad. He seems like a really nice character and that always make loving the players easier. I suspect he will be well loved here.
He really has outstanding pace doesn’t he and I wonder if we’ll see much of both he & Bradley on the right side going forward. They really linked up well today.
Like Wirtz and Kerkes, signing Frimpong made everyone wonder what new formation was afoot to accommodate the new signings, but as of now, were basically playing them all in a way that doesn't match how they become targets in the first place. I think Frimpong has done alright so far as a common or garden right back, but I think we could be getting more from him if we let him overlap and cross, particularly as Isak gets more game time.
I'm a bit concerned about Frimpong, more so than any other new signing at this stage
He doesn't seem, at this early stage, trusted defensively 1-1 in the same way as Bradley is, and doesn't offer the same level of height, physicality & defensive aggression as Bradly, Gomez or even Szob.
Going forward, he hasn't offered that much in terms of guile & movement, with his best asset, pace, often neutralised by the deep defences we come up against
I can see his value as a back up to Salah, but only if we change his role to a more traditional winger vs Salah's wide forward role
Early days for sure, but I'm struggling to see the longer-term fit to be honest without a change in formation to wing backs, which is very unlikely
