And even better with the booing he was getting. I was thinking Slot might have taken Gakpo off instead of him & played Fede on the left or centrally.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Really like him, looks clinical and unphased if he's out of the game for long periods. It was a brilliant finish.

He certainly seems to be able to handle the physical side of the Prem. I like to think his duel with Tonali showed he has a bit of snide in his game too.

Did he give Tonali a push as he was diving that resulted in his injury and substitution? They had certainly been battling in the minutes leading up to that.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

He's really strong actually for a tall skinny lad. Pure man strength.

I don't think so, it looked to me like Tonali felt the contact and threw himself theatrically to the floor, but fluffed the landing and injured himself. Good.

Tonali and Joelinton were being cnuts all night (as usual for Joelinton). They both got extreme karma finally.

Considering his stats last year, his finishing has been fantastic. Perhaps the best thing you can say is do we really need 150m Isak?

It was great that he did seem unphased by what must be one of, if not the most physical team in the league.

And a hostile crowd baying for blood.

If you look deeper the stats showed when he gets ch aces inside the box he will score but due to the teams style of play he had to create chances on his own and would take a lot of long ranges shots which made those stats look worse.

We certainly need another attacker. At the mo we have 3 plus Chiesa, Harv and youngsters...plus Frimpong I suppose.

Really like his attitude, looks like he's up there on the comedy ****house scale alongside Robbo too

Yeah, I noticed that against the Barcodes. Walks away from most incidents laughing while to opposition is fuming.

I'd assumed (looking at his beanpole figure and being French) that he'd possibly struggle with the aggression of the premier league defenders and not like the rough stuff, but he seems to enjoy getting stuck in. Was certainly throwing himself around against Arsenal and Newcastle and not shying away from contact.
Great to see. He'll only get stronger and more used to it too.

Yeah it was a tough game for strikers with both defences on top but he still got about & made a nuisance of himself. Unlucky that Cody had strayed offside or his goal would have stood.
