Incredible we have essentially made the champions league with 59 points - wonder if that has ever happened before

Nope. Previous lowest total was 60. In the Premier league that is. Us again

So we need a win at the weekend to avoid breaking or equalling our own record.

That's a pretty lucky break for our embattled manager - he surely would have been out the door if we didn't qualify
