Think we may have been guilty of time wasting. We seem to do it several times in an attempt to take the sting out of the game and silence their fansOriginally posted by Assassin View PostI read somewhere that the barcodes dark art of stalling the game was in full effect. Ball in play just under 41 mins, lowest since 2012. Our 101st min winner was all of there own making

No not at all. Klopp left Robbo out of the side for months when he first arrived before he trusted him but Arne has thrown Kerkez in from the off & he’s hardly set the world alight. Understandable as he’s playing in a new team but he will get better with more game time. No one’s writing him off.Originally posted by Harv View PostOK
So Kerkez is the new whipping boy
got it
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He wasn't that bad. Got overpowered at the far post, but he's made some solid plays too.
Hasn't really had much of a chance to show his attacking qualities either as we've looked so disjointed in midfield and defence.
Im not worried at all."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Yes with the poor start he hasn't got to show what he can do going forward. I was wondering if he's been asked to play a very different role than he is used to? Early days and as you said in a disjointed teamOriginally posted by Harv View Postbuckle your seatbelt

I just thought his defending for their first was odd.

He looks like a young player making the step up to an elite level team. His first few performances won't prove him as being either world class or dog ****. We could definitely do with him finding his feet/fitting in to the team sooner rather than later though. It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I would agree with that, he should have either gone up for the header, or stood his ground better instead of folding in half as the Newcastle player went over him. As it was, he did neither and we paid the price. But.....other than that, he seemed to do ok this time around, a lot less rash than he was against Bournemouth.Originally posted by ric.williams View PostI just thought his defending for their first was odd.
As for Flo,i didn't think he was bad, it was just a quiet game for him. He was neat and tidy with the ball, when he actually got it, but didn't have a chance to shine.
But as Virg says, the match fluency for the whole team will come, the more games we play together, the more the players will understand each other.
