The pressure of playing for LFC is so different though. His positioning and general defender in both games has been so erratic but even in possession he looks so unsure of himself.

Because he was drawing defenders on him for that very same reason, meaning the player behind him had tons of space and was on the same vector, meaning a free and relatively easy shot.

Rio was in the far better position; middle of the goal with no defenders, plenty of time to guide his shot into the net.

Just good awareness. Yes he could have scored but he'd likely have had to take a touch first, amazing awareness of who was around him and that could be a crucial moment for us later in the season

I’ve mentioned it a few times but I’d much rather we sign a midfielder with a bit of steel for these types of games (than spend all our budget on Isak). A quicker, taller, younger version of Endo would be ideal.
