No mention of what Bradley’s issue is

    Conor Bradley - unknown

The Northern Ireland international has had injury problems last season and finds himself back on the treatment table. It has not been specified what Bradley’s current issue is but it has been enough to keep him out of the previous three games. Slot has not sounded overly concerned by the problem but will hope to have Bradley back sooner rather than later.

Potential return game: Newcastle (A), Monday 25 August.

He’s been unavailable more than available since he broke into the squad, it’s a huge worry that he can’t be relied on to be fit

Oh and I see Simon “good process” Hooper has been appointed ref, outside of Tierney could they have picked anyone worse for this game FFS

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Oh good. I was worried we'd get a normal ref.

Looks like Frimpong might miss the game. Gomez probably isn’t it ready to start. Jones at RB? He’s done it a few times and always done well.

                            Some interesting comments from Slot.

Happy with the fitness. The data showed that game was the most intense game in the opening round. The team finished strong showing good fitness. He’s happy with that side.

Chiesa is in a much better place now fitness wise and therefore he’s going to be much more impactful this season.

Gravenberch positionally will make a big difference stopping the team being so open. He’s happy with the others but they are more attack minded.

Bradley trained a bit with the main group. Frimpong out till after the internationals. He mentioned Endo and Dom as players to cover right back. Gomez isn’t fit enough yet to start and he needs to build up after being out for so long.

Ekitike needs time to build up his fitness. He didn’t have a full preseason and needs to get used to the step up from the German league. He’s also taken him off because they have been managing his minutes.

I can see him going with Szoboslai at right back. Jones up against Gordon has the potential for them to start scoring with each other and nobody wants to see that. Szoboslai would be a better fit imo and I think he has more needle.

Or I wonder if Leoni will get a go?? Seriously doubt it but you never know. Maybe from the bench.

Just hope it's not Endo to be honest. Him at right back against Bournemouth was a cluster

                                Something like

                                Becker

                                Szoboslai Konate Virgil Kerkez

                                Gravenberch Macallister

                                Salah Wirtz Gakpo

                                Ekitike
