We really need last years midfield 3 to help stabilise the defence. Wirtz either drops to thr bench or moves wide left.

Gomez or Bradley at RB.

Bradley to start and Szob to replace him at half time when he gets his yellow.

It's going to be sit deep, work hard to retrieve the ball, counter and use pace down the flanks to hurt us ... same plan as others have done. I can see both teams scoring, on paper we should smash the bollox out of them but we are all waiting on all this talent to click. As Frank mentioned, we need that midfield to click and click soon. Szob played two 90 mins on the bounce and he is our engine in there, with Grav potentially injured...that is a real worry as the legs haven't been there this season.

The front three are playing on reputation here admittedly. All have been poor but we need to play them until something finally clicks? At least we will have good options off the bench if they all disappoint again.

Curt needs to play IMO. He keeps the ball really well and we will need that to build pressure.

But we miss the tenacity of Diaz, and even more we miss Mane.. and we now miss Salah.

Wowing the idea of dropping an out of form attacker for someone who has made an impact each time they have got a chance this season deserves it's own wow.

In any normal situation Chiesa deserves a chance to start some games. Salah to come on late as several have already suggested.
