Wowing the idea of dropping an out of form attacker for someone who has made an impact each time they have got a chance this season deserves it's own wow.

In any normal situation Chiesa deserves a chance to start some games. Salah to come on late as several have already suggested.

I like Chiesa, but... Lets not overlook Salah's ATG contributions over previous seasons. He was frustrating at times then but churned out some unbelievable numbers. Also, he's an absolute thorn against United in particular.

Absolutely no chance Salah drops to the bench for Chiesa on Sunday and to even consider it is bonkers, despite Salah not being in the best of form, so far.

Nah if Isak starts he has to be in the number 9 position. He is a proven top level striker so would not start him in any other position.

Could see Ekitike faring better in a wider position (as in starting in one rather than drifting during a game) than Isak, but would prefer Ekitike in a more central role. Though if starting both, then Ekitike goes left or we change the set up for the front three so it more like a striker with two CFs or WAMs behind him.

With Salah and Chiesa, what I would be doing is telling Salah he starts but is getting 60 to 65 minutes, so he can go flat out and empty the tank and then have Chiesa coming on for 25 to 30 mins and again with instructions to leave it all out there for his time out there.

Playing Salah for 90 mins means, imo of course, that at points during the game he needs to conserve energy and manage his runs. Letting him know he has an hour removes the need to manage his energy/stamina levels as much.

Might be a way to help bring energy and movement back to the attacking end of our right flank.
