Need to get back to doing the basics well, so many poor or sloppy passes today lost us possession. Szoboszlai has been one of our better players and he pulled off a great defensive move late in the game, defending a ball that would have put them in for a 4th, he reads the game well controls the ball brings it away from the Attacker is able to turn into midfield and promptly plays a pass behind a teammate out for a throw giving away possession when we needed to he up the other end putting them under pressure. Not having a go at him as he's been one of our better players, but that kind of sums us up recently, great technical ability and able to do some difficult stuff but also sloppiness and individual errors.

We 100% deserved to lose - but this is not a pen. This is why it’s worth diving - the reward is high - there is contact but just in no way should something this innocuous lead to a penalty. It’s the same with many of the hand balls that get given. They just shouldn’t result in basically a goal.

Said this earlier but I don't think gives that as a foul if he thinks it's in the box because it isn't worth a penalty, it's one of those really soft fouls that you give a freekick for, but not a pen everyone knows that happens. Problem is once he has given a foul that's the refs call but done and where it took place is a matter of fact for VAR so if contact was on line or in the box it's automatically upgraded.

Problem is no one will actually admit this what happens but it 100% is. If that is a pen so is the one on Gakpo, but if the club question it they will get some some BS because no one will admit the way things really are

I haven't seen a photo that shows the contact was in the line and its not clear from any of the footage. Surely if they're going to overturn a decision on a tight call they must've had clear and obvious evidence

Slot should be demanding to see the evidence
