All eats up time and an easy fix would be that the first player to touch the bal has to take the throw. That would make it simpler to calculate time taken.

Should do the same for a player that picks the ball up when their team has conceded a free kick and walks away with the ball, give them a yellow card because you know exactly why they are picking the ball up. And don’t be afraid to give them a second if they do it again. Players know refs won’t give second yellows for certain things.

They could easily fix time wasting, diving and all the other annoying things but seem happy to keep it going but take your shirt off and show some emotion and it’s a yellow card every time.
