Agreed. On top of that, we don’t have any wriggle room after our 3 losses

This game will tell us a lot more about the team, and whether Frankfurt was a blip or whether we really are on the path to more solidity and cohesion

frankfurt were so open....... brentford will be tight and will aim for set piece joy against us.

I expect that they might play a back 5 - so hope that Wirtz starts

Probably will be a back five so Mo will be up against Hickey and Collins. Cody might have better luck on the other side against Kayode and Ajer. I don’t remember Van Den Berg having much pace so he won’t catch Hugo if he gets the ball in a bit of space.
I just hope Konate concentrates on the job at hand instead of getting into a physical battle with whichever grok they put up front. And that we don’t give Damsgard time and space on the ball.

Whatever happens we need to play Curtis Jones in this as he's so comfortable on the ball and has the vision to open teams up.

Liverpool XI to play Brentford: Mamardashvili; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Jones, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike.

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Endo, Mac Allister, Chiesa, Robertson, Ngumoha, Nyoni, Morrison

Kerkez and salah. Back to what we know.

I'm sure robbo can play back to back this early in the season.

He seems determined to get kerkez in regardless of form.

Be interesting to see what kind of game Bradley has. I'm thinking that allowing Salah not to track back is causing more than a few problems. Sure I'm not the first to think this.
                Really?

Our own fault. Haven't strung 2 passes together. Bye slot.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Kerkez had been absolutely awful in a Liverpool shirt

We've have the ball in midfield a couple of times and looked back to konate, who then gets closed down. It's socl unbelievably negative and needs to **** off.
