The way that Slot has been talking about him, I fully expect him to start tonight. But I also expect that he will be subbed - provided conditions allow - around the 70 minute mark. Personally, I would prefer to see him used now as an impact sub. He's been a great servant, but so was Ian Rush and he doesn't expect to start any more.

It's interesting to see Szobo on the right again. Slot has talked about him being a midfielder and not a winger. Not clear how we would fit in Grav, Mac, Wirtz and Szobo in a midfield.

i'm guessing there will be some sleight of hand there, that line of 3 shifting around and trying to pull their markers out of position. they may start this way but i can see all 3 of them popping up wherever.

slob and wirtz particularly seem set up to float into each other's space and trade.

Gomez hasn’t played in yonks, he’s taking injections to his knee and both our full backs are out. Arne sticking a fork into the plug here risking another injury. I fully expected Jones at RB
