It still can be a warmer climate and if you compare the seasons it's usually a good few degrees warmer. Also London isn't a good comparison to Liverpool really is it.

It is not a bad relation, we have slightly cooler summers and slightly warmer winters the difference is about a 2-3 degree difference. Climate wise the UK is not to disimilar.

Just reading that it's an 18 month loan deal, that's a hell of a long time for a loan. Don't know how we managed to swing that one.

Excellent news. No money wasted if he turns out not to be as good as we though, or doesn't adapt for whatever reason.

Well Done Rick Parry or Rafa or whoever brokered that deal.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
