Sometimes there are players you dont like, and therefore your view of them is somewhat obscured. Crouch is one of these players for rosco, i believe.

I not saying i'd sell Kuyt as he's still settling in but if I had to sell either him or Crouch, i'd keep Crouch every time.
I kinda know what you mean, BUT Kuyt's scored 6 league goals. The Premiership's top scorer has 8. And Kuyt doesnt play all the games, PLUS he's still settling into the Premiership.

Sound signing, one has to say.

For anything over 7 mill, I would sell him.

I wouldnt sell him unless we got an offer substantially higher than the amount we paid for him - which is probably unlikely.

As has been mentioned, he's an important character in the squad. Stevie loves him, both personally and professionally - and I think that says a lot for the esteem in which Crouch is held. IMO, this carries rather more weight than a few supporters who don't like him and never will, no matter how many goals he scores.

If he ultimately ends up as 3rd or 4th choice striker, so what? He'd be a class 4th choice striker. Fowler is the one who should be up for the chop, as much as it pains me to say it.

We should be looking for maybe one more top striker...a pacey frontman, so we'd have two "big lads" who can hold it up etc, and two quick 'uns.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                Why?

I'd sell him too. I think some mid table club like Villa, N'Castle or Boro could easily pay at least £6M for us. I would also sell Cisse. And then we would have £12-14M to buy new top class striker to partner Kuyt.

He's already played for Villa. Anything over 10 million and Id consider it.

Does it matter? I think O'Neill would love to have him.

We supposedly bought him in a £7m deal - but that probably includes wages etc. So if an offer came in of around £8m-£10m would you consider it good business and do the deal - and use the money to buy a replacement like Darren Bent?

I've thought about this for a few days now - and if it was up to me I'd say "yes". I know he's our top scorer - and I know he's miles better than most people gave him credit for before Rafa bought him - but I'd still do the deal. The main reason I'd do it is because of pace - or lack of.

Yesterday we looked so much more potent with Bellamy running the channels and with a ball over the top option. I know at home there's less space to use pace but you can still use it to your advantage.

I'm not anti-Crouch as such, I'm just weighing up people's opinion and seeing if they compare to my own. So, any takers?

Sell our Top Goalscorer and buy someone that's not yet proven in the Liverpool setup.

Thank Goodness Rafa is running the Club

Ideally I'd have Cisse back and play him & Bellers with Kuyt 'in the hole' in a 433. Big Pete to come off the bench or rotate with either of the quick men for variety. Momo holding and SteG & Xabi supplying the passes. We'd need two decent full backs for the width though - anyone know if Cafu & Carlos have been cloned yet?

Cisse is not good enough to be here, Cafu and Carlos = lots of goals conceded form the wings.

Probably shouldnt hijack the thread but you're going to need some evidence to make me think a Cafu & Carlos clone wouldnt improve our team!!
