Alves has said a number of times that he want to join us. If Rafa can afford him then I can't see Alves joining another club.

Liverpool is his first choice if he leaves Sevilla.

Yep, none of the big clubs want to sell big players in January. If Chavs are interested I assume it's an effort to get him before we get enough cash to afford him

Btw another really good tip I forgot to mention, download a self-hypnosis tape of some kind and listen to that in bed, it's a good (and totally safe) way of relaxing you and sending you off to sleep.

You implied one of the factors for picking Micah over Daniel was Micah's age.

If anything, I'd pick Alves over Richards due to the age.

And it is, he's got 5 years on Alves. There's no where where I said that Alves is past it.

Don't get me worng I think ALves has been playing superbly for Seville for the last year 18 months, but my resevations are over his defending, his stature for a defender isn't the best and the ability to adjust to the PL is surely more of a worry than if we signed Richards. We all ridicule C Ronaldo for his diving, well that's something that has also crept into ALves' game that I really don't want to see from a Liverpool player.
