Hmmm.. Barca.
Well, they are good, but defensively they are not world class.
We will have to watch out so that we don't let them counter on us, a bit like playing the Chavs actually, although Barca are softer, but also better in posession.

Weak spots: Their physique, both man to man, and on set pieces in the air.
Also, down the flanks. Their full backs suck, and I think Puyol is overrated. Run at him, challenge him physically and he will struggle.

Danger zone: Ronny, of course, but also Iniesta with his deep runs from midfield. Messi or Guily, dependent on who plays, will have a field day with Riise if we don't play a good defensive player in front of him. We need to double up on Messi and Ronny to deny them space.

Key: Defence, as always. Particularly the space in front of our defense. I really wish we could have had Didi for this game, at least away. he would have mopped up a lot of attacks, won the second balls and pressurised their counterattacks out towards the sidelines, just like he always did. The Kaiser. Also, Gerrards runs from midfield onto the knock downs and through balls of Crouch/Kuyt will be vital. Gonzalez could be a bit of lucky bunny I feel. I wonder if this draw will have any bearing on our January transfer activity?

I personally think that Kuyt or Crouch will have a big part to play in this draw and might be asked to drop deeper to link up play rather than leave gaps left by attacking midfielders.

We will have Sissoko and Kewell back when we meet Barca so it will probably be something like this.

Gerrard MUST play on the right to take care of Ronaldinho. Sissoko and Alonso will then take care of Deco and Messi.

Maybe Rafa should play Crouch instead of Kuyt because one weakness Barca have is in the air.

We are better in defence and midfield than them but they have a better attack than us.
