At least if he goes on loan Klopp can recall him when this dickhead gets sacked

Joking aside though, he's not a 'qualified crock'.

We should be doing a lot better than a loan. If we can't, he should stay.

(he should stay anyway, but that seems to be a moot point)

Loan? Because no ****er wants to buy a qualified crock. What's so hard to understand? Nice lad, wants games, we get him off the wage bill and if he stays fit, someone buys him. Result.

If Lucas leaves we are light in central midfield. And that's before mentioning that we don't have a single player with his qualities.

I don't get it other squads seem to be able to carry vast reserves who appear content to try and force their way into the team. With us it seems if you aren't in the match day squad then you are looking to leave the club.

    Curiouser and curiouser.

    Quite possibly.

For me this season it'll be about goals, if we get enough we'll be in with a very good shout of the top 4 if like last season we can't hit the net it's going to be a long old season.

    Aye.

It'll be about him playing Lovren too.

Probably, thing is it's going to be Rodgers balls on the block this season if things don't pan out and as it stands Lucas appears to be back up at best as the manager it's his call and tbh if we do/don't get top 4 it won't solely be about the utilisation of Lucas.

If it's Lucas' choice it's because he knows he wont get any playing time. IMO.

Loan Lucas out and give Allen a new contract FFS, Brendan has no credit in the bank for me.

I don't rate him but I wouldn't get rid unless we had another coming in. We have a lot of games over the season and I think we look a bit short in midfield if we got rid of him. I guess that depends though on how much Rodgers rates the young lads.

If Rossiter & Chirevella etc are ready for the Europa then maybe we can let him go.
