Had it not been for the injuries he really would have been near the very top IMO.

In Dalglish's 2011/12 season, before he got that injury against Chelsea, he was in the form of his life. He looked imperious, and then bam, it was taken away from him, including a Carling Cup Final appearance in Cardiff.
