    Anyone still rate N'gog?

He's one I haven't changed my opinion much in the past couple of years.
    Oh I don't know.

Thought at the start of the season he was going to kick on and really impress us. But it seems he cant be arsed or Kenny doesn't rate him. Has he even played this year?
      *Except Michael, who died.

I'm not sure that the pace thing is as big an issue as some make out. He does need to become fitter, stronger and to use the ball more quickly to compensate for not being a naturally exceptional athlete though.

I was on his side for a long time and stuck up for him in the face of a lot of stick, but my hopes for him have all but completely ebbed away. Hasn't progressed at all, in fact he's gone backwards. I love(d) his attitude but he hasn't got anywhere near enough self-belief. He's not gonna make it here.

I still like him. He doesn't really suit the way we are playing at the minute but he was a very good deputy for Torres in our previous system. I'd like to see us loan him out as I think a season of playing regularly would make a big difference. That said if we sold him now it would not be a big loss and would give opportunities to players who might fit the team better like Pacheco.

                Totally low on confidence.

When he plays, he almost looks emabarassed that he is on the pitch. No idea what he would be like if he got over that. I've always thought he a goof finisher, but he doesn't get anywhere enough chances to prove it.

Pacheco is a mystery to me. Fans love him. Managers seem less impressed.

it's not easy though is it. I think I was at my fastest aged 10 maybe 11 but at 34 it's not coming back. No matter how hard I tried to take the odd second off my 20 metre sprint record it was doomed to failure.

Before I'm 70 I long to see a human run faster than a car. 100 metres in 4 seconds.

I thought he did quite well last season and at the start of this in Europe. I'd like to see us loan him out for a season or so to see him get his confidence back, before deciding if we should get rid. If nothing else it will maximise any fee we're likely to get for him.

Shelvey probably needs to learn that he isn't all that physically - I'm sure he was probably big for his age and bullied his way past kids as he was growing up. He needs to adapt his game and look towards the likes of Alonso and Huddlestone - even Carrick.

Maxi is someone who I saw as a possible member or the squad for next season, but when I thought about it I often came to the conclusion it wouldn't be worth re newing his contract.

However, given his performances of late I'd gladly give him a new deal, but obviously not on the high wages he currently takes home. I guess it's worth considering whether it's just a purple patch or if it's something he can maintain in this new Kenny way of playing.
                              Forwards.......

I like Shelvey. He is still filling out, and it doesnt help when he is shoved wide. He looks much more comfortable in the middle.
