does it sound the same amount of ridiculous in norwegian?Originally posted by Assassin View PostWasn't sure where to put this....
I was in a meeting today with some people we had not met before, so we had a round the room short introduction.
One guy came out with his name (which I have forgotten) then said he had 35 years in the industry and was well respected by his peers.
FFS I just exploded into laughter, whilst everybody in the room was looking at me in bewilderment. Fortunately I was looking at a text on my phone when he was speaking, so I palmed it off as a private joke and apologised for disrupting the meeting

On a seperate note, I still smile when I see the title of this thread
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Interesting.......don't think this has been posted elsewhere.
“I found Roy great to work with and was very down and sad for him because he’s a good man and I had a good relationship with him. The disappointing thing for everyone is that just one man always gets the blame and that’s the manager. It’s important for us players not to hide behind that.”

It was important last season too. Funny how he never said the same then. Ah well, it's history now.The disappointing thing for everyone is that just one man always gets the blame and that’s the manager. It’s important for us players not to hide behind that.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

i just think some of our squad, SG included wanted their socks cucked a little. Houllier and Roy did that. so they 'liked' them.
I think stevie will do the diplomatic thing - unlike carra - and thank rafa for overseeing the best part of his career. I certainly hope he doesnt claim 2001 was better than anything under Rafa.
