Chamberlain is 18, nearly a year and a half older plus he had a season at Southampton.
I think that would be the way to go for next year, give him a half season loan in the Championship/Div 1 and if he rips it up like Chamberlain did...he could be ready for first team action._____________________________________

In a talented squad you can understand why the likes of Ngoo, Sterling and Shelvey wouldn't be getting a chance. But in possibly the worst squad seen since Diao/Diouf/Cheyrou days if you're still not getting a game then there's something wrong with the management of our club and specially our youth.
As a youngster there would now be two clubs I would never consider training with: 1) Man City because they will always have great players on great wages and 2) Liverpool because they don't seem to display a clueOne tit for another.

I'd love to see Wisdom, Stirling, Silva and Texiera have a go against some of the **** of English football.
almost all of the youngsters that have come through at any premiership club have come through injuries to others.

Soooooooo Sterling has been on Mersyside for 2 years but is now unsettled?? er ok, Spurs are going to watch him in the NextGen game? why didn't they watch him against themselves at White Hart Lane the other week.
Added to the fact Sterling signed a 4 or 5 years deal when he turned 17 a couple of months ago leads me to deduce this is yet another absolute load of bollocks.
Plus, Bale, Lennon and Modric play wide for Tottenham, sure he'll dispace them easier than Bellamy/Kuyt/Downing/Henderson next seasonThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

EXCLUSIVE: Devalued Sterling may quit Liverpool
Published 22:31 22/03/12 By Darren Lewis
Liverpool striker Raheem Sterling could quit the club this summer, with his mum keen for him to move back to London.
Tottenham are monitoring the 17-year-old’s progress, whose frustration at a lack of senior action has been well-documented.
Now, Sterling’s mother Nadine is ready to force the issue by pushing for a return south to Harlesden in north London.
The England Under-18 forward, who can also play on the wing, currently lives in Walton with his mum, two-year-old brother and 10-year-old sister.
But his mother fears he is not making progress at Anfield as other youngsters are being integrated into first teams at other clubs.
A string of defensively minded youngsters, including Jon Flanagan, Martin Kelly, Jack Robinson and Jay Spearing, have made it into the Liverpool first team in recent years.
But no young striker has come through to play in Liverpool’s first team since Neil Mellor in the 2002-03 season and Michael Owen in 1997.
Sterling is widely seen as the best young prospect at Liverpool and hit a superb goal against an experienced Arsenal this week in a 1-1 draw for the reserves.
And Liverpool have refused to accept loan bids for him from a string of clubs, including Bolton, Swansea, West Ham and both Sheffield clubs.

Read that earlier. The Coates one in the same paper was a bit more disturbing. Worried about his International career, thought he'd be playing more, expecting to play next year etc.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
