Just turned on and we're 2-1 down.

      please no.

avb's tactics wont work in england because there are too many good attacking players who will find space against a defence with such a high line.

his team will be slaughtered against really good sides with clever players.

I have seen the same thing on twitter but some fairly reputable sources claimed he was just not picked.

I think there is much more going on in the backround that we are not aware about him as yesterday was 2nd game in the row that he didn't play for reserves nor he showed up on first team game sheet.

James Sutton tweeted me yesterday stating "He is a complete Bellend and that he gained quite the reputation".

That said he did play for reserves vs Newcastle today so I guess he did very good job on his exam if that is what he was so focusing on these past few days.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just saw that today. He is just one of those players that makes something happen almost every time he gets the ball. Complete opposite to Stewart Downing. Why he hasn't had a full game now I don't know. I think it could give everyone a lift to see him start.

Suso got a straight red didn't he?? That is 2nd straight red this season which means a 4 match ban - does that ban also mean he can't play 1st team football??

Suso has really picked up again. I think it's fairly natural for kids his age to plateau in their development, as he did, but he looks the real deal again. I think he should be in the first team squad next season - we badly lack the sort of guile, ingenuity and vision he provides.

I was talking about Sterling and yes Suso did get a red card. Think he was playing really well up to that point though. Dictated tempo in the second half. As soon as Borrell moved him into his favoured position.

His sending off was a joke, never a red card.

I think the best we can hope for him is that he impresses in pre-season and gets included in the first team plans. As Shaggy said we are in dire need of a player with his type of attributes.

It might have helped his development had they played him his best position through the middle and not out wide. Adorjan has frequently been played in Suso's best position and has been pretty ****e in almost every game I've seen him play

Haven't seen this one, but I am still seething with his first red card. He was pwning Pogba in our cup game against scum before being pushed over for a foul (Fergie-friendly ref not giving it) then the Fergie-friendly linesman flagged up an 'incident'. Apparently, he'd lashed out at Pogba's face after that barge with a Beckham-esque swing (nothing of that magnitude). Ref sent him off. Replays clearly showed Pogba being the fergiescum.

There's vid of this one in the ressies sticky courtesy of Mostar - its right at the end of the game. Never ever a red card. Twice this season Suso has had terrible decisions go against him.

Fwiw, he really is looking quite smart again indeed after something of a lull in his development. Looks to have bulked up quite a bit, and he really does have a wonderful eye for a pass. Personally I think he might be ready for the first team at this rate before Sterling is. Sterling has a ton of raw potential but watching him I still get struck by just how young he still looks. I worry that he would get absolutely flattened in the Premiership at this stage of his development, and I think the club are worried about the same.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                              Mine angry and defrauded young?

Agree with all this but, i think sterling will make a few turnouts for us in the Cup games IMO
