bench again for next game and give him more than a few lousy minutes.

He should be in and around the first team squad for the rest of the season, if Bellamy is fit I would be tempted to drop Sterling out of the matchday squad every now and again to give him a break but apart from that include him in the 18-19 that the final squad is selected from every week.
There should always be room for someone like Sterling amongst 7 subs, if the situation allows then we can bring him on for 10-15 minutes here and there, if not then he is still learning and getting used to the pressureThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Nothing to play for in the league no so this is perfect time to give them 20 mins here and there.Amoo has been at Bury for months. Played 20 minutes plus another 70 at the weekend and that was in L1.Originally posted by saj View PostCoady and Amoo? They would struggle to get 20 minutes at a league 2 club

Nah, plenty of doubt. In fact, I doubt he'll even get close. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Really, really pissed off he wasn't even on the bench yesterday

It seems to me he kicked up a fuss about not feeling like he was making any progess, hence the rumours of the move to Spurs surfacing. So then Kenny appeased him by giving him a massive 6 minute run out in the first team (where I think he did pretty well), and now the young lad has had his 6 minutes of glory he can keep his mouth shut again and settle for being bombed back out to the reserves again for the rest of the season. It stinks
When that game was slipping away from us yesterday we needed to bring on someone capable of making something happen. He might only be an untested kid but I would have had far more faith in bringing him on at 2-0 yesterday and getting a goal than I had when Henderson and Downing came on

was that not the reasoning behind it in the first place??Originally posted by PoolG View PostSean Rogers on TAW made a good point a couple of weeks back.
We have 7 subs,is there really any good reason not to give 2 of those spots to youth players, give them some experience of the whole match day malarkey and gives you the chance to throw them on if the game allows it._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!
