He is one of the most impressive young players that I have seen here for a long time. What impresses me most is his tactical awareness. No he's not overrated, but underrated he is. He's that good.

300 pounds a week! Sterling is playing in the Liverpool first-team for buttons
The teen winger should be quids in when he turns 18 next month though - his agent wants the club to pay him twice that old wage EVERY HOUR
Liverpool have yet to make a formal contract offer to Raheem Sterling, even though the teenager is able to sign a full professional deal a week on Saturday.
The exciting England international turns 18 on December 8, and the club will then be allowed to pay him the going rate for a top-class Premier League player.
He has 18 months left on the deal he signed when moving to Anfield from QPR as a 16-year-old, but that was for just £300 a week.
Sterling will be looking for twice that sum per hour now he has won a full international cap.
But so far, talks have stalled over Liverpool's new salary tiering, which sees the superstars such as Luis Suarez given around £100,000 a week, established internationals - Stewart Downing, for example - on half that figure and the rest of the first-team squad at around £20k a week.
Sterling's agent, quite rightly, has pointed out his client is keeping the likes of Downing and Jordan Henderson out of the side, so should be given a similar level of salary as the two England players.
Yet boss Brendan Rodgers wants to keep the teenager's feet on the ground with a graduated pay deal designed to reward performances by increasing when he hits certain target levels.
Liverpool remain unworried by the lack of a formal offer, and will continue on a process of informal talks with the agent to try and find a compromise solution starting at £20,000 a week and rising to the higher level over the years.
Sterling for his part has consistently stated he wants to stay at Anfield in the long term and is happy to sign a new contract, but it seems talks will continue right up until his 18th birthday.
A Reds insider insists that there is no cause for concern.
He explained: "Negotiations continue to be constructive, but we are not prepared to go into any specifics."

Gets better every time I see him. Was very very impressive yesterday in terms of running with the ball and his skill on the ball. Also is far stronger physically than he should for his age.Originally posted by saj View PostI've not seen this Ibe play - is he any good?
I wonder if someone can upload that bit of incredible magic he did (one of many) on the 31 minute mark.
I have seen enough of this kid to belive he will be knocking on the first team door quicket than he might think."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

I thought Wigan was his best performance for us and was unlucky not to score against Swansea. Harsh IMO.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostGone off the boil for me, which is no surprise really as he shouldn't even be in this position of constantly playing games and being relied upon in this team (lacking winners).
It may benefit him in the long-run, but at this moment, he needs a break and we can't give him that.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
