I wonder if someone can upload that bit of incredible magic he did (one of many) on the 31 minute mark.

I have seen enough of this kid to belive he will be knocking on the first team door quicket than he might think.
Rodgers was extremely impressed with him in America too IIRC. Best player in training I think he said.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It was one of the players that said it, can't remember who. I know Enrique said that Mcloughlin had impressed him the most

          Yes he did.

He will fit into this system so well, keeps the ball and releases nice and early where possible but also not afraid to be direct with the ball and causes defenders serious problems.

OK. I thought he was still playing for the under 18's.

It may have been Joe Cole who said that about Sterling on his video diary things. You know for Joe Cole to praise you on your level of training you must be doing something right. Such an accolade!

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I like the look of Ibe and Jerome Sinclair. Adam Morgan will be a good wee player but I fear not for us for lack of opportunities. Who else is there...oh yeah I saw an article on that Pelosi fellow, the American. May have been Guardian or Telegraph. Anyway, apparantely the academy were bigging him up saying he is a Gareth Barry in the making. I've not really paid attention to Pelosi in all honesty. Anyone have an opinion?

Another one who has really impressed me in the games I have watched. Certainly looks like he has great potential, possesses a good engine and can spot a pass. Very highly rated so is expected to make the progression up in due course.

But Ibe is the exciting one. Really has that ability rarely seen, the ability to control the ball and wriggle out of tight situations with great balance. I just enjoy seeing a player who looks forward when he picks the ball up! Reminds me of Luis in that respect.

It may benefit him in the long-run, but at this moment, he needs a break and we can't give him that.
He needs rest and it is clear that his performances as of late haven't been impressive.

Even today Rodgers mentioned that he is aware that Sterling needs to be rested and he said he'll need to take that into serious consideration.

Too early to tell who is better.

Both are very gifted and both have potential to make it with us and at the end of the day that is the only thing that matters

This was the article I saw. I'm wrong it wasn't Guardian haha. It was Goal.com, quite different. I don't know about them though. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/...s-at-liverpool

Oh and btw there is no chance that Sterling is currently on £300 a week.
                            Complete and utter bollocks.

I knew 17 yr old pro footballers getting more than £300 a week in the lower leagues in the 90's so no chance a rising star would be on that little at a premiership club in this day and age after paying circa £5 mill for him.

                            More likely £3k a week.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I always go with my gut feeling Mo, and in this instance I see something in Ibe that I never saw in Sterling. He has that something extra and is still 16!!

But they are both ours so its all good!

                                I hope you're right Tee.

I have seen him pretty regularly this year and personally he only impressed me vs Toronto during the summer tour but he is very young and he has been rated very high by his peers and academy coaches.

I actually like Ojo better who is only 15 and I think that kid has the talent to be very good but if all 3 can make it than we will have some options on the wing
