          It looked to me as it was a small deflection of Martin but it was great to see that he used his left foot to make that pass.

                The other thing about him is that he has great maturity beyond his years, you would expect a 19 year old kid in what is really his first full season to be a bit of a headless chicken, but his decision making is good and he is comfortable telling more senior players what to do.
                The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  He's fast becoming my favourite player. Obviously Suarez and Gerrard are the big names in the team, but I just love Sterling's attitude. It's great to see him working so hard for the team and loving every minute he's on the pitch. We have some fantastic young players and a brilliant young manager, the future looks very bright.
