As Brendan said after the match, he's the best young talent in Europe right now.

...and it wasn't just being dropped back in into the position he's playing now, he was brought back in as a wing back, has been asked to cover at right back, has played as an advanced winger, central attacking midfielder and as a second striker. How many players can do all that convincingly? Not many. The last player who had that kind of flexibility to be effective wherever he's been asked to play was Gerrard. Not saying he's going to be as good as him, but it shows he's a player with massive talent.

No doubt it'll be 10 after the Norwich game, meaning he will have won 10 MOM awards out of about the 40 games played in the entire season so far. That's ****ing unbelievable, made even more incredible given he didn't really start contributing til December.
It isn't science but it gives a general consensus from a wide range of Liverpool supporters.

        He has been outstanding.

I think Chris has mentioned this before - but it's not completely ridiculous to wonder if he can reach Ronaldo/Messi levels. I'm not saying he will, and I don't think he'll ever score the number of goals they do, but he has a chance. He's 19, is producing phenomenal performances and numbers already, and has scored 10 goals this season. In a couple of years time he could be looking at around 20 goals a season. You wouldn't accept £35m for him now would you? What a player we have on our hands.

I totally agree mate, it gives us a good idea without being perfect. But from that you can glean that Sterling has been our MOM in roughly a quarter of our games this season. A ****ing quarter of them, in a title-challenging (and maybe winning) team featuring geniuses like Suarez, Gerrard and Coutinho. And he's 19. Remarkable.

He comes across in interviews as a lovely lad who is really enjoying his job. Fair fecks to him. He is so young.

He's progressed so much since Xmas it's frightening. He now makes good decisions with great confidence, takes responsibility in defence and attack. His final ball and shooting are sharper. Before he was a prospect, now he's a bona fide top class player. Wouldn't want to suggest any ceiling for his talent. So lucky to have him!

Only if they throw Jones in as well.

Next season we take Europe by storm. We're the best team in England, a complete unknown in Europe in recent times and I think we're going to do really well
