I'd say that shows he's onside? Follow the grass line at the feet of the furtherest back defender, he's about 2 yards onsideOriginally posted by rudedog View PostI think this is pretty clear from this angle that he was offside:

He maybe offside in the pic but the ball has long left the foot of Can, if you freeze frame Mostar's vid, he is onside when the pass is made. He is so quick off the mark, it catches out the linesman from looking when the ball is played across to Sterling's position, by the time the linesman finds him, he has already moved 2-3 m.Last edited by kev776; 31-07-14, 01:59 PM.Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

The ball looks to have already been played in that.
So if he's running at pace just as the ball is kicked, well, he could easliy be onside looking that image.

Ok then, argue away.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostIt matters because it was against Man City, it was a wonder goal and because Sterling has previously been wrongly flagged offside against City!
My sincerest apologies.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think you should look at the 16 yard line first...
