I think there is not a lot in it between Moses and Sterling but Raheem edges it for me. I htink that goal was a big one for him and we need to give him a chance to build on it.

Exactly.Originally posted by PTP View Posti know we all get wound up and frustrated with players, but this kid is what 18.
18 FFS.
He's promising.
He's taken a lot of flack this year but people seem to forget how good he was at the start of last season - a very mature player for his age. He's got natural skill and pace, so I suppose at the moment he's learning the game and what to do and what not to do in certain situations - almost as though he's playing within himself.
He's 18. If he can work hard and listen to Rodgers, Gerrard and the staff then he can have a good career with us.

Aspas though - he can **** off
Seriously tho - i was getting really angry at the game. Some of the **** Sterling was getting...
someone had a go at him for keeping possession too long, take any extra touch etc.
he wanted him, whilst running with a defender, at full speed, to take one touch and spread it wide to johnson - now ok it was the 'right thing' to do - but it was difficult, and only somethign top class experienced players would
instead, sterling took 3 or 4 touches, to fend of the defender, compose himself, then passed it wide to johnson
this bellend behind me was foaming at the mouth at it....i pointed out, that had he Sterling attempted to play it first time and it not come off, this lad would have been just as angry and isn't it better that he kept possesion
apparently not cause he's ****ing **** wife beating little ******* who should be sent back down to london or something along those lines
really! 18 years old. No wonder he takes a few extra touches, cause he's **** scared of the abuse he'll get if he makes a mistake.
When he scored i went ballistic and looked straight at the **** behind...he avoided eye contact.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

But as soon as we got a couple of goals up, he started playing with less fear and had a really good game by the end. The goal was the icing on the cake.Originally posted by sssiho View PostNeeds a run in the team, was crap against Hull(who was'nt) but better against Norwich. Maybe now the confidence will come back after scoring, and we will see the reat Raheem Sterling.
Confidence, less fear, and he'll be a decent player for us again. That'll only come with a run of games though. If he's not getting games for us then he needs a loan.

most of the young lads who look like they are first team ready can often become overawed once they get their chance in the first team. maybe the first game they look good, so much adrenaline covering the nerves.
once they look good enough in the ressies they should go on loan to further their development. on their return they can then mix with the first teamers in training and try and claim a place on merit.
we cannot use the first team as a youth development tool as it might compromise a few results and points are always vital.
you will never win **** all with kids, dont you know that.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
