You really come across as a bitter person towards Rodgers.Originally posted by Arn View PostManagers like Fergie and Wenger had excellent CVs to back up them up. Fergie is of course not a manager anymore but he was that at the time.
Rodgers don't. Then you can also add that both Pennant and Morrison left.
How much boss is Rodgers in the dressing room?
You may think that the CV bit isn't important but if you can show that your methods works by winning a lot or that you are succesful then you can get away with more.
Mourinho's CV gave him some extra time at Real. He talked about the players personal problems but he had won a lot so he could do that but in the end it was to much, he had talked to much about it.
Who is more important, the player(s) or the manager? Depends of course who the manager is and who he talks about.
Why don't you stick with aliens? Was muß, das muß.

What was Fergies CV like when he went to the scum? And how much time did they give him before he won anything?Originally posted by Arn View PostManagers like Fergie and Wenger had excellent CVs to back up them up. Fergie is of course not a manager anymore but he was that at the time.

Sterling does need to buck his ideas up before he blows it all and if anyone thinks the likes of Rafa, Mourinho, Ancelotti etc wouldn't have said something similar in the same circumstances I have to strongly disagree, they so blatantly would.
As a general rule there seems to me to be a massive amount of over-analysis and unnecessary riding of high horses going on any time anyone at our club opens their mouth, as if their jobs don't actually require them to speak to the media on a regular basis.
I'd also like to aim this at no one in particular:
Hello mert.

even if rodgers has spoken with sterling in private about his concerns and felt it needed making public to ensure that sterling realises the seriousness of the conversation, it also sends out a clear and strong message to the other young lads at the club to not make the same mistakes and ensure you act professionally at all times.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Assault doesn't mean you hit someone, hitting is likely a more serious offence (battery, ABH or GBH depending how far it is taken, use of weapons etc, while they all start with assault, they are not the same).Originally posted by dom9 View PostEr, the charge was assault.
As for bandwagons, what are you on about?
Not that I know the details of the case, just to saying assault doesn't equal hitting someone.

I was the victim of assault and battery once. I had the **** kicked out of me by a bouncer. It was unprovoked, of course. He was found guilty, and I got something like £60 compensation to replace my glasses which cost 5 times that amount.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostAssault doesn't mean you hit someone, hitting is likely a more serious offence (battery, ABH or GBH depending how far it is taken, use of weapons etc, while they all start with assault, they are not the same).

I remember marching right back into the venue, demanding to the see the manager. I told them that if they compensated me there and then for the cost of my glasses, that I would drop it - they refused, so I walked straight to the police station. The guy got arrested on Monday morning, and it went to court about 6 months later.Originally posted by Gibbo View Post**** that Dom. I got filled in by two bouncers once for defending myself against "someone they knew" two black eyes and a split lip wasn't fun the next day.
Never thought about following it up though, didn't think there would be a chance.
I remember him trying to stare me out when I was in the dock, so I just stared back and laughed at him. He had a really **** lawyer too - I remember tying her up in knots until she sat down looking a bit dejected. Their defence seemed to hinge on the fact that I tried to extort money from them in return for not going to the police - when in fact I just wanted to replace my specs. ****wits.
Turns out that all bouncers had to be registered with Doorsafe, and this guy was not. He'd come from Australia, got the job, and never had any training. So that blew up in their faces too.Oh I don't know.

As a young player, I'd look at those comments and think to myself "if I don't buck up I could be out the door here. Time to buck my ideas up and impress the boss before I'm playing for the likes of Stoke, if I'm lucky".Originally posted by Arn View PostWould you behave better if your boss slated you in the media or would you be pissed off?
