I for one think it's good that he is getting some time away from the limelight, and get's more time to develop his game in training. I think we've seen him suffer enough after extended runs in the first team and with to much focus on him because of his age.
I would rather have him learning and training with the first team than getting him out on loan, and potentially end up playing to many PL games with to much focus on him again.
For now I think he is learning well, and with Gerrard mentoring I think it's a good spot for him right now. Then he can challenge next season or go on loan there when he matured a bit more.

Totally agree with this. He is in the best position for his age and experience. If he is playing poorly we can send him to the 21s to gain confidence and get him away from the limelight. If he is playing for a poor PL team/Championship team they are likely to leave him in the first team because they don't have other options which could damage his confidence.Originally posted by Darkon View PostI for one think it's good that he is getting some time away from the limelight, and get's more time to develop his game in training. Maybe after more 1st team football he could do a season long loan next season.96 Never Forgotten

i know sterling needs game time but i think if he was to get 1st team game time it would be a little compromise to our cutting edge.Originally posted by Gazzla View PostSterling would benefit from regular football, I would rather persist with Sterling than give game time to Moses who is only only loan and who doesn't look very good truth be told
sure, he might get a few substitute appearances but he needs to play more regularly so his game can develop. a loan would be the best option all round.
i would say moses offers us more than sterling does at the moment.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
