Thanjk you.

After a promising start to his career, I had my concerns (due to his 'off the field' issues and dip in form) but today he was excellent. Showed skill, desire, strength, speed of thought and excellent awareness.
Used his weight and low centre of gravity far better to shield the ball when a couple of weeks ago at Hull he was bullied off the ball physically.
his link up play is great but if he could improve his left foot and become better at cutying in from the right that could be the difference between a potential Aaron Lennon and a player of a potential world class pedigree.

He was outstanding at shielding the ball & winning the ball back. He doesn't half hassle people when getting stuck in! Great directness at running at the spurs defenders & he completely got the best of naughton in the first half. Great game all round.
I think he was very good yesterday but in all fairness he probably couldn't have wished for a better opponent than naughton who looks dodgy every time i see him
With young players we have to be patient because there not the finished article and they will be inconsistent. If he sorts his life off the pitch, he could be a revelation on it.
He completely outshone Townsend and anything else spurs had.
