I've got a feeling that Sterling might play up top with Sturridge this season if we can't get/find the right striker. He's fast, has great movement and he seems to have been working on his shooting.

I'd rather play him through the middle where he has more of an influence on the game. Every time he plays through the middle he is one of, if not the best players on the pitch.

The reason he plays so well is because he gets into space and has time to turn and run at players - time he would not get so much if he was played up top.

Through the middle as an attacking midfielder.

I'd rather play him there too, but I think Rodgers might play him up top if we don't get another decent striker and particularly in some games.

Look where the ball is in this shot. That's inconclusive I'm afraid. No proof here.

I remember saying that it wouldn't surprise me if Sterling's agent is banging on the door post World Cup, even after signing a deal not that long ago.
He had a relatively OK-ish World Cup, and he's clearly going to be an important part of the team, but that 4x is compete horse****.
