What is scary is I think Ibe has as much, if not more potential than Stirling.

I can't stand 90% of Ingerlund fans, 100% of the media bollocks and all of the non Liverpool England players.

It'd be different if people understood you can be patriotic without being jingoistic. I just find it tiresome.

Aside from that I was so impressed by Sterling, he really announced himself to the world. Couldn't be happier for him and made up that he's ours

I know you aren't alone in this opinion but I think it's a bit strange considering Sterling was a lot more prolific for the reserves and by Ibe's age now, had already made a big impact on the Premiership. Ibe's advantage over Sterling was always his size and strength, but I'm not sure he even has that now as very few can push Sterling off the ball now.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Potential and realised potential are very different things. Sterling has realised his, Ibe still has to

Fair point but Stirling was stagnating until Rogers kicked his ass and woke him up, maybe Ibe needs the same treatment or is just a later developer. He hasn't been given the same chances as Stirling.

I had him as first scorer at 15-1. Jumped out of my seat and everything. Gutted

                Stagnating?

Ibe was given a chance at Birmingham, didn't make as big an impact as Sterling did on the PL.

I suspect I'm losing this one.

Personally I wouldn't be too disappointed if Ibe took Moses/Aspas place on the bench this year and the money saved used towards a big target rather than another bench filler.

He should certainly take Moses's position in the squad, a no brainer. He has more to offer than Moses ever did. He can put some pressure on Stirling to keep him on his toes.

Ibe is nowhere near Sterling, never has been and I'd be amazed if he ever is. Think he's a good talent though and defo got hopes of him contributing for us in the future but Raheem is going to be one of the best in the world very, very soon.

Indeed. Raheem is turning out better than I expected, who'd have thought he'd be playing the number 10 role for club and country ! He's certainly heading for the top.

What a bonus for all those young lads like Stirling and Ibe to train with Suarez every day.
