Isn't this just agent tactics? Make the comments to the media and vilify the client to such an extent that the damage is irreparable. Then take the blame and pave the way for the move.Originally posted by rodo View Postbollocks to all the play him in the reserves make the ****house front up at stoke on sunday and let him face up to his actionsSakhoPotatoes

Agents are instructed by their clients, not the other way round.Originally posted by tanner View PostIsn't this just agent tactics? That is what the relationship should be. However... An agent with experience trying to set up on his own and two of his young inexperienced naive clients both behaving the same way.Originally posted by cream View PostAgents are instructed by their clients, not the other way round.
Madness to think the agent is not leaning on him.Football without Origi is nothing

Equally madness to think that it is the agent trying to get sterling a move and not Raheem instructing to get him the **** out of here.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostThat is what the relationship should be. He's just a kid with potential, who sounds like he can't be bothered putting in the time & effort here. He'd much rather go somewhere that he doesn't have to try as hard to win things. A weak little boy! You have to work to achieve greatness,he wants it handed to him elsewhere so let him go.ON THE COUCH...

I don't think he is doing anything against Sterlings will, I think that this is what Sterling wants or at least what he thinks he wants. The agent isn't forcing Sterling to do anything against his will.Originally posted by cream View PostEqually madness to think that it is the agent trying to get sterling a move and not Raheem instructing to get him the **** out of here.
But I am fairly certain that Ward has been putting ideas into his head for weeks/months to get Sterling to want this, by constantly telling him that the club don't value or appreciate him, that he could get more money, more medals, etc elsewhere. Eventually he has started to believe that it's best for him to move on, he (Sterling) probably believes that this was his idea. That's the way great manipulators work, and IMO that is what Ward is.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The client may want a move, the agent can facilitate that. I think its incredibly naive to think that a lot of this won't be part of a sequence of planned events resulting in a move elsewhere, managed by the agent.Originally posted by cream View PostAgents are instructed by their clients, not the other way round.
Yes, Sterling may want a move, but I think some of these events will have been created by Ward to aid his client.SakhoPotatoes
