If we ever went in for a player linked with Aidy Ward again I would be extremely disappointed. Don't care if he was Messi's agent and he indicated Leo wanted to play here, I'd tell him to do one.

No reason at all for him to allow it to drag out, unless of course he wants to confirm that his not about the money schtick was more BS from him and that he is hanging in to try and get his loyalty pay out as well as a move.

As for putting him in the reserves. Well he does not want to play for Liverpool, so if he does not wish to hand in a transfer request then I would grant him his wish of not wanting to play for the club and keep him away from the first team squad altogether.
