I bet Ward does that annoying thing Sterling etc do. Always points at his mates in a photo.

Its nothing to do with that

Carragher is a genuine hard lad and hard player

In a different era he'd have been likened to Case & Smith

I havent mentioned Souness because I think hes out on his own

I do like it when we agree. I'd like to share that I'm agreeing with you about the lack of quality in our midfield options.

Sami Khadira is a free agent soon. Would you be happy with him if Liverpool could pay the wages?

If cunts like Ward want their clients to leave then let them take them. I'd rather play hard ball on the price and give them a **** sandwich as a leaving present.

                        £40m and a **** you very much.
I see your point, but there's a principle at stake here. We have to show that we won't be ****ed around. Acting like a petulant brat doesn't get you out of a contract, he signed a deal (and was offered a much improved one!) and he should honour it and get on with his job. I do think that we should ensure clauses are inserted into contracts so that players can't make stupid comments through the media. They represent the club as long as they're paid megabucks to play for us.

We need to show that we're a team that are worth playing for, that are progressing and challenging. This applies to existing players staying and good players joining. Simple as that really. If we do well on the pitch we won't have these problems as much and if we don't then we will.

A no brainer to take Khedira imo

Hes miles better than anything we have in midfield

Raheem Sterling risks career by listening to 'bad advice,' says Thierry Henry

Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry has warned Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling that he risks "destroying his life and career" by listening to "bad advice".

Sterling has been linked with a move away from Anfield following reports he is not willing to sign a new deal, but Henry is advising the 20-year-old to think twice before making a wrong decision.

Speaking after watching Arsenal draw 0-0 with Sunderland, Henry told Sky Sports: "I think we all know that he's been receiving some bad advice.

"You can't go out there and talk about your contract in the press. You have to respect your fans, respect the club that you play for.

"If you want to leave Liverpool or not, when you make the decision about leaving or staying, then do it. Don't discuss yourself in the paper.

"I went through the same thing. When I was young I had a problem with Real Madrid and Monaco because some guys that were around me were putting stuff in my head.

"I lost my football, mentally I wasn't there anymore, I wasn't concentrating on anything, and therefore it looked like I was going to have a good career and people were questioning me when I hadn't even started my career.

"So it's the same thing with Raheem Sterling. To an extent you can blame the agent, adviser, whatever you want to call them now but you need to be a man about it also, you need to be able to say, 'Enough, you're destroying my life, you're destroying my career.'"

But the Frenchman says he would be happy to see Sterling return to London to join his old club if he makes a decision to call time on his three-year spell at Anfield.

"He's a great product for Liverpool and he's going to be a great product for England. I would be more than happy to see him play for Arsenal but he's still a Liverpool player," he added.

"We all know he's a Londoner, and we know Arsene Wenger is interested in him."

There will be so many teams in for Khedira, I don't think we stand a hope in hell.
