On this basis the following players also show huge lack of game intelligence

Eric Cantona and his kung-fu kick

    Suarez and his 2 bites

    Beckham - red card Argentina

Gerrard and his numerous red cards in league games

Maradona for his self destructive tendencies

Should we also mention Sterling getting sent off for England

What is clear is that he has been in the shop window since he said he wants out. So all that really matters is getting as much as possible for him and reinvesting that money successfully. It's just a shame that he can't man up and put in a formal transfer request.

50m for a player that can't kick a ball properly. Snap their arm off.

I don't care who you are, by the age of 20 you should be able to kick a ball properly at goal. Sterling just can't shoot. He's absolutely terrible at it and at his age i very much doubt he'll ever get much better. He's hit a couple of chancers that ended up fooling a few people, but 90% of the time he just scuffs them. Its like the ball is too big for him or something.

For 50m you should be getting the Torres', Aguero's, Suarez's. ****ing lethal players with killer instinct in front of goal. Not flappy arm, little pricks like Raheem, who can't get any power in their kicks.

Cant stand the little turd. He's all thats wrong with modern players. **** him off pronto.

They will lose 25-30% of their squad and players like Joe Gomez, andre wisdom, thiago illori and even sheyi ojo could help them increase their numbers with zero outlay.

For dropping their demands by £5m they get 3/4 of our best youngsters in the deal and that may help them challenge for promotion again.

You cant do a lot with 5m when championship teams are regularly paying big money for players.
a good point about offsetting payments by loaning some youth.
maybe qpr need the cash to pay off some of the ****e they signed though.

50 million is the very minimum we should be asking for. City have got the cash, 50 mill to them is like ten pence to you and I.

I'm not having it with their low balling offers they can sod off. If they're willing to cough up 70 - 80 million then let's have it otherwise they can bloody well bugger off.

Would prefer to keep him but if selling him for £50m means us getting a boss striker then i'm all for it, especially when we have other players (Lallana, Coutinho and Markovic) who play in what i think is Sterlings best position (behind the striker).

                        Have we sold him yet?
It's probably why most players aim to kick with just one.

I'm of the opinion that like a young Ronaldo the amount of goals he 'leaves out on the pitch' is indicative of the potential for improvement. He gets into a lot of good positions and at his best creates space/chances for himself.

£50m is a bloody good deal.

We get money to spend elsewhere.

                            Raheem gets to win trophies.

Even if he does fulfill his potential, at £50m we can't grumble. If he goes on to be a £100m + player then we still got a good deal getting £50m for a lad with potential. It's one of those deals you can't lose, everybody wins.

                              you;re right mate.

qpr are in a very tough situation right now. they might get 15-20m for austin, someone may give them 5m for barton but the rest are all terrible. again perhaps we give them another 10m for sterling but 30 - 35m doesnt even begin to scratch the surface of their squad problems.

the other issue with qpr is their debt and the ffp fine. it may come to a point where any money coming in might just go straight to debtors. if thats the case then they're better off with 5m plus some of our loan players.
