I've played in that competition, lost 4-1 to Arsenal one year, Sterling's performance was frightening, not the pace because some lads have that but it's his decision making and the fact he goes either side.
Playing from the left he needs to be able to go outside for variety
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

It is after a performance like this that a player should be rewarded with a place on the bench in the next league game.

That would send out all the right signals. Imagine what a boost it would be for all our young players to see what happens if you play a fantastic game.

He had a sublime game against a poor side's youth team. Lets not get too carried away with ourselves. He's still very inconsistent, even at that level.

That said he was quality tonight and one to really watch out for. At only 16 he has bags of time.

I can't get over how small & young he looks though.

some of our younger talents really look fantastic, not just suso and sterling. future really looks great with lots of options coming through. hopefully we'll pick up some more talent through the summer

Would players like Sterling and Suso really be any worse to have as an option on the bench instead of players like Jovanovic, Poulsen or Spearing?

I really hope that KK have the courage to drop more experienced players that don't offer anything to the team and give our youngsters a chance instead.

Sterling is still at school!! There is no rush.

And I wish you'd stop saying you wish Kenny has courage to drop more experienced players and play younger ones, he already is, he's starting Kelly every game and has brought an 18 year old off the bench in all the matches he was available for.
