Have been looking forward to this game for two days since I found out it was on LFCtv. Shut the kids up and watched every ounce of this match while it pumped my veins with adrenaline throughout. Even watched the ads as I didn't want to move.

I don't think Sterling is quite the Messi but he is most definitely John Barnes re-incarnate. Unbelievable confidence and ability in front of goal. This kid will make it at a big club without a shadow...just hope its us.

Thank goodness Kenny was around to talk sense into Rafa to buy this kid. Kenny did a brilliant job as Academy director and has got some talent in. Shame Rafa did not use anyone of them. Good Job he is not around anymore. Waits for Arn to bite

Just watched the vid. He sure does look good, but at only 16 may be a bit early for him for him to make the step up. Also, that Southend defence looked shocking!

Would players like Sterling and Suso really be any worse to have as an option on the bench instead of players like Jovanovic, Poulsen or Spearing?

I really hope that KK have the courage to drop more experienced players that don't offer anything to the team and give our youngsters a chance instead.

Probably at the moment, yes, no point in rushing them.

Very quick feet that one. Not saying he's anywhere near this level but reminds me of the (real) Ronaldo video posted yesterday. Stays on his feet and directs the ball at his feet enough to evade tackles.

His shooting was very good too!
