Here's just his highlights on the Rwanda game
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJS4yp823XE"]YouTube - ‪Raheem Sterling vs Rwanda‬‏[/ame]"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

You can't use top level football to judge kids levels mate, very different game. As the commentator said, most WC champions at that level come from Africa.Originally posted by ronanm View PostYou can only beat who is in front of you but Rwanda?

I think this is a genuine concern. It's about how to get players to play with confidence - if bigger, stronger players are allowed by referees to bully them then it is harder for them to play.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Posthe's tiny. i wonder if he could manage on a rainy wednesday in stoke, etc..."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

He is very small, even when he came out in the U17 England team he looked like a 13 year old.
But as he started dictating the play you could see players visibly shrink around him. Whenever they tried to outmuscle him, he would put his Dalglish-ar*e in the way or just knock the ball two yards ahead and run. Easily the most fouled player on the pitch.
Two things of note: 1) he knows he will be barged/fouled so he plays accordingly, 2) he has a great low centre of gravity and reasonably thickish thighs and obviously the pace to burn. I’m thinking Maradona/Messi here. One tit for another.

Or you should move to Europe
Was just making the point that tournaments look better in Mexico. '70 and '86 were awesome to watch on TV, this looks the same.
Anyway, back on topic, well done Raheem! My LFC Blog - OH I AM A LIVERPUDLIAN
