Are you really looking to compare he weight of a slim 16 year old and a fat 50 year old? What would that tell you other than the old man is a lot heavier?

I did. But I still think it's too early to know what Sterling will be like when he grows up. He could end up a few inches taller and will fill out I'm sure.

I agree I think he needs more time to mature and not be rushed as some have been e.g. Owen.

Dalglish is 5'7" & used his body well when shielding the ball from defenders.
                    Raheem will be alright!

We should either play him or loan him out.

He need to start playing competitive games week in week out. Maybe not whole games but at least coming off the bench.

He is to good to continue playing for the youth team or the reserve team.

Way, way to early for either imo. The lad is not built up enough for the rough and tumble of the premier league yet.

FFS the greatest player of the modern era who is of similar stature didnt start appearing regularly till he was 18.

Lets not rush this lad into the first team and end up with another Owen. I would like him to get off the bench at the end of the season for a couple of games and play in the cc cup early rounds max.

                          What's the problem?
How many similar small, skillful players have been successfully been bought through in the PL in recent years, especially at top teams? It's not a bar to being good but it can be a bar to getting into the team and putting up with the physicality of the league in which we play. No one is saying that he can't make it merely that it is more problematic to develop such players and something which we will have to deal with.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

how old does he have to be before we are allowed to speculate?
