Its all very odd over there. They think they won because we have to pay 20% from QPR. Can't see that we held out and held out to force them to pay our valuation that only 2 days ago they were all saying was too much.

So many chips on their shoulder they could open a Harry Ramsden's franchise

It really doesn't matter whether we get 45 m or 50 m or what posters on Bluemoon think or what John Cross think. We are getting a sizable sum of money. The key is how we reinvest it.

We might as well have sold Torres to Chelsea for 30m if it had financially prevented us from bidding for Carroll. Looks like we are going to reinvest a big chunk of that money on Benteke. If Benteke fires us to the top 4, it is a brilliant bit of business irrespective of whether we get 35,40,45m for Sterling. If Benteke does not live up to the expectation, then it really does not matter if we get 48 or 50 or 55 million.

Lfc should just finish the negociations by insisting that the prick puts in an official transfer request........if he doesnt then he should be made to stay

Lets just get it done, £45M is a great return, we just need to reinvest it wisely.

Who ****ing cares. He's a footballer who will no longer play for us. If he does well he does well and if he doesn't then that won't impact how well we re-invest the cash and manage our own players moving forward. This wishing physical harm and injury on him is childish as **** not to mention pretty unsavoury.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

He'll do well at City I reckon and will go on to become a massive star hence why in my opinion we should be holding out for more. But, 50 million is a **** load of wedge and hopefully we can purchase the right kind of player with the funds.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

He wants to leave? See you later Raheem. I'm more interested that out new Captain is on the cover of FIFA and that we have our first pre season game on the 14th.

Money and football bores the absolute living piss out of me.
                              *Except Michael, who died.
