Who ****ing cares. He's a footballer who will no longer play for us. If he does well he does well and if he doesn't then that won't impact how well we re-invest the cash and manage our own players moving forward. This wishing physical harm and injury on him is childish as **** not to mention pretty unsavoury.

Nobody has to wish a departing player well if they don't want to, and certainly the manner this one has been dealt with by Sterling has generated some pretty justifiable ill-feeling, but there is a line beyond which things get more unpleasant than is at all reasonable.

Wishes of physical harm obviously cross that line in all circumstances, I'd consider it a summary banning if I see anything like that again on here from anyone.
