Understand Sterling did report for training at Melwood with rest of #LFC squad this morning. Club pulled him out of tour.

Got to go for Lacazzette now with the funds.

Marco Reus & Lacazzette will do me fine. It's in the metro so must be true.

Meh, he was eventually to go. Just delighted to get him out the door to be honest.. especially for that money. He may or may not be a superstar for City, but he didn't want to be here, showed a really horrible attitude & it was best for all concerned that he moved on.

Don't wish him any harm, but at the same time.. don't wish him any luck either.

£45m for Sterling is excellent business, the only problem is that we have a habit of spending money quite poorly ourselves.

All the stupid excuses he's made (directly or through his agent) I would have respected him if he'd stated that the club lacked ambition because that seemed partly true. It would have been a wake-up call for the owners. As it happens we seem to have upped our game a bit and we've brought in some players who can improve the first team.

£200k a week is madness for someone who has achievedb the square root of **** all in the game. Enjoy the bench for the next two seasons before being shipped out to Sunderland.

                            Hmmm..., that's a bit simplistic.

It's probably fair to say that he's got more chances of winning things in the short term at City. And he was offered a decent package at LFC, so if he was solely after money, he could have signed it ages ago.

He wants to go, and irrespective of the reasons, we should accept that and move on.

                            Case closed.
                            Are we winning?

What I find remarkable is that Aidy Ward's reputation has been well and truly trashed, yet he's still persisting with this attitude. Who else would join him after this? Berahino has left, and he only has Oxlade-Chamberlain left.
