Meh, he was eventually to go. Just delighted to get him out the door to be honest.. especially for that money. He may or may not be a superstar for City, but he didn't want to be here, showed a really horrible attitude & it was best for all concerned that he moved on.

All the stupid excuses he's made (directly or through his agent) I would have respected him if he'd stated that the club lacked ambition because that seemed partly true. It would have been a wake-up call for the owners. As it happens we seem to have upped our game a bit and we've brought in some players who can improve the first team.Comment
